Work on the project of your choice whether you make an art quilt, create art to wear, customize an existing pattern or use 25 or more fabrics in one piece. Class will be tailored to meet your needs! Denise's demonstrations on color, thread drawing, appliqué and more will help your quilts go from ordinary to extraordinary. Denise's patterns are available to help those that aren't sure what they want to create. Some students take this class to make wearable art, landscape quilts; portrait quilts or learn Denise's art quilt techniques. Open yourself up to a new experience!

Topics covered will include: freeing your creativity, breaking the rules, discovering your style, and planning the design. Art quilts and non-traditional design ideas will be discussed. Each student's creation will be unique and techniques used will match the skill inventory you already have. Class will be lecture and discussion oriented. You will go home with the plans for your original art quilt. If you have been sewing/quilting for a couple of years, this class will help you let loose and take your projects to a new level while having fun.
